This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeCraft AI, Inc. ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the CollabMe service at https://collabme.com and the CollabMe mobile applications.

1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password.
- Phone number (E.164 format): used for account verification via SMS one-time passcodes (OTP). This is a transactional message required to sign in.
- Optional SMS preferences: if you opt in, we may send event-related notifications; you can opt out via message instructions or in-app settings.
- Event and media content: photos, videos, captions, and related metadata you upload to a CollabMe Story you are part of.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the CollabMe service, including account creation, sign-in, and event participation.
- To send transactional SMS for phone verification (OTP) and, with your consent, optional SMS about events you're part of.
2A. SMS / Text Messaging Program & Mobile Information
CollabMe (operated by EdgeCraft AI, Inc.) operates an A2P 10DLC SMS program used to verify accounts and send event-related notifications. This section describes what mobile information we collect and how it is (and is not) shared.
Program categories
- Account verification one-time passcodes (OTP) required to sign in.
- Event-related transactional notifications — event invitations from a host, RSVP confirmations, event reminders, and alerts when the recipient is tagged in a photo — sent only to phone numbers that have opted in.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. CollabMe does not charge for SMS.
- Frequency: Recurring; varies by account activity (typically 1–10 messages per month per user).
How users opt in
You provide your mobile number and consent to receive SMS from CollabMe by entering your phone number into the sign-in, sign-up, or phone-verification form on https://collabme.com/auth (or in the CollabMe Uploader mobile app) and tapping the button to send a verification code. A disclosure directly beneath the phone-number field states that by continuing you agree to receive SMS verification codes and account notifications from CollabMe, that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency varies, that you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, and links to our SMS Terms and this Privacy Policy. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, and SMS consent records are only used to deliver the messages described above. They are shared solely with the subprocessors strictly necessary to transmit those messages (currently Twilio, Inc., our licensed A2P 10DLC messaging provider) and are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

3. How We Share Information
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, storage, analytics, email, and SMS providers (including Twilio, Inc. for SMS delivery). These providers are contractually restricted to processing the data solely to deliver the service.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
- We do not sell personal information.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and event content for the life of the account and for a reasonable period thereafter, subject to legal and operational requirements. SMS consent records are retained for the period required by applicable law.
5. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account information via in-app settings or by contacting support@collabme.com. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
